In 1867 an article was released after one of skiing's first downhill races. It exclaimed the importance of Dope. "Dope" was the word first used for what we now call wax.
"Dope is King of the slopes" the article claimed. The dope maker kept his ski wax recipes very secret and it was considered more important to the ski racer than his start off the gate.

Only two sweaters have been pressed using a mixture of eco neon pink and forest green inks onto a high-grade medium weight cotton.
On the back left of the sweater is a small article explaining what "DOPE IS KING" really means, whatever people think on first glance will most likely never be correct.
